I was thrilled to work on some hand-drawn lettering for this identity. The hand-drawn lettering in juxtaposition with clean typography and an inviting colour palette creates this friendly, enticing, confident take on a modern classic for the series.
Trusted. Established. This identity and colour palette evokes a standard of excellence and trustworthiness, integrity, class and confidence. The colour palette is modern yet timeless.
As the Grades progress the colours become more stark / mature but remain positive and inviting.
The spine of the books are inspired by the hardback classic tales, again fortifying that sense of a trusted, established classic. The modern colour palette and timeless lettering bring this classic feel a fresh look.
